Off to the Consulate of Kazakhstan

We are happy to announce that we received our corrected I-171H from USCIS (it took about 5 weeks to receive the revised document). We notarized and apostilled the last of the documents needed for our dossier and sent them off a little over a week ago. Our agency called as soon as they received them to let us know everything looked in order and they would be sending it off to the Consulate by the end of the week (week of December 18th). They just had to translate these last few documents because they had already translated all the other documents we had sent in October :). We were so surprised but very, very happy to hear it would go out this week.

The paper chase has been challenging here and there. We're glad our dossier is in/reviewed/translated. It feels like we've made a giant step forward.

We sure hope to have our child home in the next 6-9 months. We're officially pregnant on paper!
